First Aid CPR AED Instructor Course

Service Description

This First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor's course is to train you how to instruct and certify other healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Giving them the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and emergency cardiovascular care in adult, children and infant patients. Consistent with OSHA and the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and BLS. You will learn the use of lecture, how to run skills practices and case-based emergency response scenarios. You will also learn how to help your students build their critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that's needed to have better patient outcomes. This is a mandatory 18hr course that can be broken down into sessions by 2-4 days a week, 4-9 hours daily, or 1 day for an 8 hour skills session blended learning at your request. Upon successful completion, students will receive a 2 year American Red Cross or American Heart Association Instructor's certificate and ecard via email. You will have anytime, anywhere access to training history. All course info. will be emailed to students prior to the first day of class. Instructor Course Qualifications: 1. Be at least 18 years of age. 2. Have a current ARC or AHA basic First Aid/CPR/AED certification. 3. Be prepared to complete the Instructor's CPR Skills Check-Off. 4. Be prepared to complete the Instructor's Written Exam. 5. Complete the Instructor Essentials online course ($36) 6. Purchase the Instructor's Manual or e-book ($45) *If you plan on teaching AHA Heartsaver or ARC Heartsaver the Manual must also be purchased ($55) This may change in price or policy. If you do not have a basic ARC or AHA Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification card, we can provide training for that as well for an additional $60 fee if you are aligning with our company. An additional $65 fee if you are aligning with another training company. Please contact the Instructor directly for more details, questions about policy and/or price change.

Cancellation Policy

A 48-hour notice is required for any cancellations prior to your scheduled class. Failure to give a 48-hour notice will result in a 20% cancellation fee.
